Lamar R. Miller, age 59 years, of Wauseon, passed away Thursday evening, December 23, 2021, at the Fulton County Health Center in Wauseon. He was born July, 19, 1962, in Elkhart, Indiana to Jesse and Arlene (Miller) Miller.
A 1981 graduate of Pettisville High School, he then went on to ITT Technical Institute in Fort Wayne, IN. He married Charlene Rupp on June 16, 1984. Lamar helped the Wauseon FFA and was always willing to help a friend in need.
He was an avid fan of Dale Earnhardt and Dale Earnhardt Jr. He enjoyed camping at the fair, and loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Charlene; two daughters, Cherri (Lamar) Maddock of Swanton and Kattie (Kenneth) Lee of Stryker; five grandchildren, Gracie, Josie and Julia Maddock, Liam and Autumm Lee; six siblings, Jody (Cathy) Miller of Brownsburg, IN, Keith Miller, Jolinda Miller both of Wauseon, Reggie Miller of Montpelier, Brett Miller of Wauseon and Tina (Scott) Hile of Mt. Gilead; in-laws, Roselyn (Duane) Short of Wauseon, Barbara (Robert) Alexander of Archbold and Carolyn Duncan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two grandchildren, Bowen and River Maddock; brother-in-law, Vernon Rupp; and numerous aunts and uncles.
