Rebecca E. Gambler, age 66, of Montpelier, passed away early Saturday morning March 9, 2013 in her home. She was born on October 12, 1946 in Urbana, Illinois to the late Charles and Lottie (Clark) Lirot. On June 13, 1965, Rebecca married Fredrick L. Gambler in Angola, IN.
Becky retired from Power’s & Sons in 2011, after 45 years of service. After her retirement, Becky became a member of the Quilt Club here in Williams County and loved to spend time making quilts.

Becky leaves behind her loving husband, Fredrick L. Gambler, Sr.; son, Fredrick L. Gambler, Jr. (Coleen Beaverson), of Archbold; 4 brothers, Ronnie (Tammy) Lirot of Anthony, FL, Paul (Karen) Lirot of Elliottsville, IN, Bob (Mary) Lirot of Joliet, IL and Tom (Rosemary) Lirot of Bloomington, Ill; 3 sisters, Pam (Dave) Duncan of Springville, IN, Janette O’Malley of Bedford, IN and Mary (David) Holcome of Fruitland Park, FL; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and good friends. In addition to her parents, Becky was preceded in death by her 3 brothers, Mike Lirot, Pat Lirot and John Lirot
Visitation for Becky will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at Wilson-Geesey Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 3-8 pm. The funeral service will take place the following day, Wednesday, March 13, at 1pm at the funeral home with Pastor Mark Holbrook to officiate. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery. Donations may be made in Becky’s memory to Visiting Nurses & Hospice of Williams & Fulton Counties, or the Williams County Humane Society or to Relay for Life.
