AYERSVILLE: May 24 – As it was for the local boys, so too was it for the local girls…just not as severe Seven local schools sent their athletes into battle at the Ayersville D-III Track and Field Districts on May 22 and 24. Of those seven schools, the doors to the Tiffin Regionals opened wide for five in fierce competition.

Pettisville will once again be leading the parade with Alexa Leppelmeier, Brooke Waidelich and Jordyn Pursel, but Stryker will be sending s strong contingent of their own with Paige Speelman, Brittany Brier and the 4×400 relayers making the trip.

Of no surprise, Hannah Brehm-Gutting will be representing Edon in both throwing events, and she will be joined by Montpelier’s Baylee Hageman in the shot. Kelsey Fruchey will carry the banner of the Fayette Lady Eagles into Tiffin in the high jump event.
