Anthony L. DeCant, age 71, of Delta, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 6, 2020 in his home surrounded by his loving family. Tony was born in Toledo on January 20, 1949 to the late Ervin and Doris (Naugle) DeCant.
He met and married Bonnie Hoffman on January 6, 1970. For many years Tony and his family, owned and operated DeCant Construction. A loving husband, father and grandfather he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Bonnie; son, Mike (Karlla) DeCant; daughter, Karen (Bill) Davis; grandchildren, April; Andrea; Alyssa; Angel; Ashley; great grandchildren, Harper; Hailey; Makenzie and sister, Lavonne Dull.
He was preceded in death by sisters, Deloris Ducat; Laura Lumbardo and brothers-in-law, Gilbert Dull; Emerson Ducat and Mike Lumbardo.
In keeping with Tony’s wishes, there will be no public visitation or services. Arrangements were entrusted to Barnes Funeral Chapel, 5825 St. Hwy. 109, Delta, Ohio 43515. A memorial service to celebrate Tony’s life, is being planned for a later date.
