STRYKER – Kymberly Mae (Garcia) Baker, age 52, of Stryker, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at her home.
Kym was born on September 8, 1970, in Adrian, MI the daughter of Victor and Deborah (Masters) Garcia. Kym was a graduate of Pettisville High School and received her Bachelor of Business degree from the University of Findlay.
On May 12, 1994, in Bryan, she married Daniel Baker, and he survives. She was currently employed with Powers and Sons as their HR Manager and enjoyed collecting antiques.
Kym will be remembered for her goofy personality and selfless nature.
She always took time to put others first, especially her family and fur babies.
Surviving Kym is her husband Dan; son, Ethan (Nancy Spangler) Baker; brothers, Victor (Julie) Garcia and Steven (Joyce) Garcia; sisters, Krys (John) Griffiths, Janie (Chris) Bailey, and Maegen (Jay) Sheldon; mother-in-law, Marsha Baker; brother-in-law, Dave Baker; and sister-in-law, Debbie (Greg) Taylor.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Ashtyn Baker; and father-in-law, Ron Baker.
Funeral services for Kym will be held on Monday, December 19, 2022, at 5:00 p.m. with visitation beginning at noon until the time of the service at First Baptist Church, 925 E. Fountain Grove Dr., Bryan, OH 43506, with Pastor John MacFarlane officiating. A private burial will be held in Pleasant View Union Cemetery, Fayette.
