Guest speaker Brad Bowers shared photos and stories about his father who served in Europe during World War II in 1944-45. The female Athlete of the Week is Fayette cross country runner Addison Schang. Schang became just the fourth girl in school history to qualify for state where she finished 67th (20:17) out of 214 runners. Schang was also the BBC individual champion as she helped the Eagles to the team title at the BBC Championships on October 11.
The male Athlete of the Week is Archbold football player Ryder Ryan. Last Friday in a regional quarterfinal win over Seneca East, Ryan carried the ball 16 times for 150 yards, for 9.4 yards per carry, and three touchdowns with a long run of 31 yards.
